AD/Cessna 550/4 Amdt 1 Main Gear Actuator to Strut Attach Stud Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 550/4 Amdt 1.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 19 November 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in1984 against Cessna Citation II Alert Service Letter (SLA)
550-32-32 Rev 1, required an inspection and modification of the main gear actuator to strut attach stud due to reports of failure at the thread relief on the small end.  Compliance was required within 90 days after 10 October 1983.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
