AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 550/2.

Cessna 550 (Citation II) Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 550/2 Landing Gear - Structural Life Limitation 2/2010

Requirement:

CANCELLED

This AD is cancelled on 4 February 2010.

Background:

This Directive raised in 1982 required all landing gear components listed in Chapter 5 of the Cessna Citation II Maintenance Manual to be retired from service at or before the times indicated.  Chapter 4 of the Manual is a separate document containing all Chapter 5 requirements as they relate to FAA-approved Airworthiness Limitations.  Airworthiness Limitations are required to be complied with in accordance with legislation contained in subregulation 42L(d) of the Civil Aviation Regulations (CAR), and Civil Aviation Order CAO 100.5 subsection 9.

This AD is therefore cancelled.
