AD/Cessna 550/17 Amdt 1 Fuel Flow Transmitters Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 550/17 Amdt 1.

AD/CESSNA 550/17 Amdt 1 Fuel Flow Transmitters 12/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 19 November 2009.

Background:

This AD was raised in1991 against Cessna Alert Service Bulletins SBA 550-73-3
Rev 3, SBAS550-73-1 Rev 3, and SBA560-73-1 Rev 3.  The AD required initial and repetitive inspections at high power settings for fuel leakage from the fuel flow transmitter until Cessna Service Bulletin SB550-73-04 was accomplished.

As all affected aircraft will have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
