Ad/Cessna 500/9 Amdt 1 - Static Port - Modification - Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 500/9 Amdt 1.

AD/CESSNA 500/9 Amdt 1 Static Port - Modification 10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1979 against Cessna Citation Service Bulletin (SB) No. SB34-20, Rev 1, required a modification to the static port to prevent the port from being intermittently blocked in flight during heavy precipitation.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 28 February 1979.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
