Cessna 500 (Citation) Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 500/6 Oxygen Mask Door Actuating
Piston - Replacement
10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1974 against Cessna Citation Service Letter (SL) No. SL35-1 and Puritan-Zep Service Bulletin (SB) dated 15 March 1973, required modification of door actuators contained in the oxygen mask deployment containers by replacement of the door actuator piston(s) located within the lanyard/actuator body.  This action was required to ensure proper deployment of passenger oxygen mask doors in the event of system operation.

Compliance was before 29 March 1974.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
