AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 500/5 Amdt 1.

Background: | This unique Australian AD, raised in 1981 against Cessna Citation Component Time Life Limits Schedule required retirement from service all landing gear components listed in the Schedule as contained in Chapter 5 of the Cessna Citation and Citation 1 Maintenance Manual dated 1 September 1971, and incorporating Revision 20 dated Compliance was forthwith. As the requirement to comply with the Airworthiness Limitations Section of the manufactures maintenance manual is already mandatory, this AD is no longer required. |
