On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 500/24.

Background: | This unique Australian AD raised in 1990, required a cautionary notice to be painted, or be in the form of a placard, on the drag chute canister lid to the effect that the canister lid should not be sealed. Compliance was prior to the issue of the next maintenance release after As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required. |
