AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 500/20 Amdt 2.

Cessna 500 (Citation) Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 500/20 Amdt 2 Tailcone Skin and Vertical
Fin Spar Interference
10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1985 against Cessna Citation Service Bulletin (SB) No. SB 53-13 and SB 55-4, required an inspection to ensure sufficient clearance between the upper tailcone skin and vertical fin spar.

Compliance was required at the next scheduled inspection for maintenance release issue after the 31 December 1983.  As all affected aircraft would have been inspected by now, this AD is no longer required.

Delegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority
