Ad/Cessna 500/2 - Centre Flap Aft Bearing - Modification - Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 500/2.
Cessna 500 (Citation) Series Aeroplanes
| AD/CESSNA 500/2 | Centre Flap Aft Bearing - Modification | 10/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD, raised in 1973 against Cessna Citation Service Bulletin (SB) No. SB 57-3, required a modification to replace the centre flap track aft bearing roller shaft to provide better retention of bearing shaft in the bearing assembly. Compliance was required before issue of certificate of airworthiness. As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required. |
