AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

Cessna 500 (Citation) Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 500/18 Main Gear Actuator to Strut
Attach Stud - Inspection
10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1983 against Cessna Citation Alert Service Letter (SL) No. SLA 32-34, required an inspection and replacement of the main landing gear actuator to strut attach stud that could result in gear collapse.  Replacing the attach stud removed the necessity for repetitive inspections.

Compliance was required within 90 days after 11 October 1983.  As all affected aircraft would have been inspected and modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
