AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 500/17.

Cessna 500 (Citation) Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 500/17 Elevator Sector Bracket
Attach Rivets - Inspection
10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1981 against Cessna Citation Service Letter (SL) No. SL 27-4, required an inspection to ensure that the elevator bellcrank support bracket had been riveted to the forward bulkhead at manufacture.

Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after 28 February 1981.  As all affected aircraft would have been inspected by now, this AD is no longer required.
