Ad/Cessna 500/16 Amdt 1 - Cabin Door Frame - Inspection, Modification and Replacement - Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 500/16 Amdt 1.

AD/CESSNA 500/16 Amdt 1 Cabin Door Frame - Inspection, Modification and Replacement 10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1982 against Cessna Citation Service Bulletin (SB) No. SB 53-12, Rev 3, required an inspection and modification to the cabin door frame due possible marginal edge distance on rivets common to the fuselage frame and "Z" angle of the aft door post.

Compliance was at the next inspection period and for aircraft with marginal rivet edge distance repair within the next 700 hours.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected and modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
