Ad/Cessna 500/1 - Wing Cover Plate Screws - Replacement - Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 500/1.

AD/CESSNA 500/1 Wing Cover Plate Screws - Replacement 10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1973 against Cessna Citation Service Bulletin (SB) No. SB 57-2, required replacement of aluminium screws with steel screws on the three cover plates on both inboard wing ribs.

Compliance was required before issue of certificate of airworthiness.  As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
