AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 400/95.

Cessna 400 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 400/95 Pilots Instruments Air System 10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1988, required modification by the installation of an additional air pressure regulator in the pilot's instrument air system in accordance with Cessna Service Bulletin CQB88-9 to prevent the loss of regulated air pressure if the bleed air flow control valve fails.  The AD compliance was no later than 31 March 1989.  As the AD was applicable to a limited number of Cessna 425 aircraft which are no longer on the aircraft register, the AD is no longer required.
