AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 400/94.

Cessna 400 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 400/94 Aileron Hinge Assembly 10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1988, required a one-off inspection and, if necessary, removal of the washer under the head of the aileron hinge bolts in accordance with Cessna Service Bulletin Cessna SB MEB 85-8 and SIL ME 83-25.  The compliance of the AD was within 100 hours time in service from
31 December 1988.  As all aircraft would have now been inspected, the AD is no longer required.

Delegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority
