AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 400/91.

Cessna 400 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 400/91 Elevator Bellcrank Bracket Integrity 10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1986, required inspection of the rivets that attach the elevator bellcrank bracket assembly to the tailcone pan assembly in accordance with Cessna Service Bulletin CQB86-13 to determine if they are loose or working.  The compliance of the AD was within 100 hours time in service from 31 December 1986.  As all aircraft would have now been inspected, the AD is no longer required.
