AD/Cessna 400/9 Fuel Crossover Line Modification Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 400/9.
Cessna 400 Series Aeroplanes
| AD/CESSNA 400/9 | Fuel Crossover Line - Modification | 9/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 28 August 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1969, required modification of the fuel crossover line in accordance with Rex Aviation Technical Memo TM-26 to prevent chafing of the fuel lines in the area of the firewall. The compliance of the AD was within 100 hours time in service from 12 May 1969. As all aircraft would have now been modified, the AD is no longer required. |
