Ad/Cessna 400/83 - Up Elevator Stop Bolt - Inspection and Replacement - Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 400/83.

AD/CESSNA 400/83 Up Elevator Stop Bolt - Inspection
and Replacement 10/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1981, required a repeat inspection of the "up elevator" stop bolt until replacement of the bolt in accordance with Cessna Service Alert Letter PJ81-8 to ensure proper torque of the jam nut.  The AD compliance was 25 hours time in service and replacement of the bolt was within 300 hours time in service after 7 October 1981.  As all aircraft would have now replaced the stop bolt, the AD is no longer required.
