Cessna 400 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 400/83 Up Elevator Stop Bolt - Inspection
and Replacement
10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1981, required a repeat inspection of the "up elevator" stop bolt until replacement of the bolt in accordance with Cessna Service Alert Letter PJ81-8 to ensure proper torque of the jam nut.  The AD compliance was 25 hours time in service and replacement of the bolt was within 300 hours time in service after 7 October 1981.  As all aircraft would have now replaced the stop bolt, the AD is no longer required.
