AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 400/82.

Cessna 400 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 400/82 Elevator Quadrant/Cable
Guard Screw - Inspection
10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1981, required inspection of the elevator cable guard screws in accordance with Cessna SIL PJ 80-27 to ensure positive clearance exists between the screws and the elevator quadrant.  The AD compliance was within 100 hours time in service after 30 September 1981.  As all aircraft would have now been inspected, the AD is no longer required.
