AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 400/78.
Cessna 400 Series Aeroplanes
| AD/CESSNA 400/78 | Elevator Quadrant Cable Guard Screw - Inspection | 10/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD, issued in 1980, required inspection of the elevator cable guard screws in accordance with Cessna SIL ME 80-42 to ensure positive clearance exists between the screws and the elevator quadrant. The AD compliance was within 50 hours time in service after 27 November 1980. As all aircraft would have now been inspected, the AD is no longer required. |
