Cessna 400 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 400/72 Induction Elbow - Replacement 10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1980, required inspection and replacement of the induction flexible elbows in accordance with Cessna Service Letter ME80-14 to prevent blockage of the inlet manifold from the delamination of the inner layer of some flexible elbows.  The compliance time of this AD was within 300 hours time in service after 31 July 1980.  As all aircraft would have now completed the inspection and replacement, the AD is no longer required.

Delegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority
