AD/Cessna 400/7 Turbocharger Air Inlet Duct Inspection Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 400/7.

Background: | This unique Australian AD, issued in 1967, required a visual inspection of the fibreglass inlet duct to the turbocharger compressor for cracks. The AD compliance was within 25 hours time in service after 14 February and at intervals of 100 hours time in service. As no recorded defects have been reported since 1980, the AD is no longer addresses an unsafe condition. |
