AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 400/62 Amdt 1.

Cessna 400 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 400/62 Amdt 1 Main Landing Gear Tyre
Clearance - Inspection and Modification
10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1980, required a one-off inspection of the wheel well opening in accordance with Cessna Service Letter ME80-21 to ensure adequate clearance exists between the main gear tyre and the wheel well structure.  The AD compliance was within 25 hours time in service.  As all aircraft would have now been inspected, the AD is no longer required.
