AD/Cessna 400/56 Upper Inner Cabin Door Handle and Locking Mechanism Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 400/56.

AD/CESSNA 400/56 Upper Inner Cabin Door Handle and Locking Mechanism - Inspection 9/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 28 August 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1978, required a one off inspection of the upper inner cabin door handle to ensure the locking mechanism is operational in accordance with Cessna Service Letter ME78-21.  The AD compliance was within 100 hours time in service after 30 September 1978.  As all aircraft would have now been inspected, the AD is no longer required.
