AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 400/35.
Cessna 400 Series Aeroplanes
| AD/CESSNA 400/35 | Inner Wing Electrical Wiring - Inspection | 9/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 28 August 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1973, required a one-off inspection for signs of electrical wire chafing and missing grommets and stainless steel plates in the inner wing. The AD compliance was within 25 hours time in service after 9 April 1973. As all aircraft would have been inspected by now, the AD is no longer required. |
