AD/CESSNA 400/25 Elevator Torque Tube Fitting - Inspection 9/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 28 August 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1971, required inspection of the elevator torque tube fittings for cracks and, if no cracks were found, re-torque the taper pin nut in accordance with Cessna Service Letter ME 71-8.  The AD compliance was within 100 hours time in service after 30 June 1971.  As all aircraft would have now been inspected and re-torqued, the AD is no longer required.
