AD/Cessna 400/14 Wing Locker Fuel Tank Vent Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 400/14.

AD/CESSNA 400/14 Wing Locker Fuel Tank Vent - Modification 9/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 28 August 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1970, required a modification of the wing locker fuel tanks in accordance with Cessna Service Letter ME 69-34 to prevent siphoning of fuel overboard through the fuel tank vent system.  The AD was within 100 hours time in service after 23 March 1970.  As all aircraft would have now been modified, the AD is no longer required.
