AD/Cessna 400/13 Propeller De-Ice Bolts Inspection Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 400/13.
Cessna 400 Series Aeroplanes
| AD/CESSNA 400/13 | Propeller De-Ice Bolts - Inspection | 9/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 28 August 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1970, required inspection of the propeller de-ice slip ring mounting bolts for interference in accordance with Cessna Service Letter ME 69-37. If interference was detected modification was required. The compliance of the AD was within 10 hours time in service from 16 February 1970. As all aircraft would have now been inspected and modified, the AD is no longer required. |
