AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 400/106.

Cessna 400 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 400/106 Passenger Seat Installations 10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1996, required examination of  the aircraft records to determine whether the modification to install the additional passenger seats (over the original 9) has been approved by this Authority or an appropriately Authorised Person.  The AD compliance was before
30 June 1996.  As the requirements for approved seats are covered by CAO 20.16.3, this AD is no longer required.
