AD/Cessna 340/23 Elevator Balance Weight Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 340/23.

AD/CESSNA 340/23 Elevator Balance Weight - Inspection 7/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.
Background:	This AD, issued in 1982, required a one-off inspection of the elevator balance weights in accordance with Cessna Service Letter ME81-35 to ensure they were properly retained.  The compliance time of this AD was within 100 hours time in service after 31 March 1982.  As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
