AD/Cessna 340/20 Wing Locker Fuel Tank Filler Cap Rework Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 340/20.

AD/CESSNA 340/20 Wing Locker Fuel Tank Filler Cap - Rework 6/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1979, required a simple modification by drilling a small vent hole to the filler cap on auxiliary wing locker tanks in accordance with Cessna Service Letter ME79-26.  The compliance time of this AD was within 100 hours time in service after 30 November 1979.  As all aircraft would have now completed the modification, the unsafe condition no longer exists.
