AD/Cessna 340/19 Upper Inner Cabin Door Handle and Locking Mechanism Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 340/19.

AD/CESSNA 340/19 Upper Inner Cabin Door Handle and Locking Mechanism - Inspection 7/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1978, required a one off inspection of the upper inner cabin door handle to ensure the locking mechanism is operational in accordance with Cessna Service Letter ME78-21.  The compliance time of this AD was within 100 hours time in service after 30 September 1978.  As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
