AD/Cessna 340/10 Fuel Crossfeed Line Fittings Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 340/10.

AD/CESSNA 340/10 Fuel Crossfeed Line Fittings - Modification 6/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1976, required a modification by incorporating shrouds around the crossfeed fuel line bulkhead fitting in accordance with Cessna Service Letter ME76-7.  The compliance of the AD was before 1 October 1976.  As all aircraft would have been modified by now, the unsafe condition no longer exists.
