Cessna 337 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 337/24 Forward Engine Compartment - Self Locking Nuts - Inspection 6/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1977, required a one-off inspection of certain nuts located in the forward engine compartment to determine that the correct steel self locking nuts are installed in accordance with Cessna Service Letter ME 77-18 Item 1.  The compliance of the AD was within 100 hours time in service after 31 October 1977.  As all aircraft would have been inspected by now, the unsafe condition no longer exists.
