Ad/Cessna 337/19 - Bench Seat Back Emergency Operation and Placard - Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 337/19.

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 24 September 2009.
Background:	This unique Australian AD specified once-only modification of the bench seat backrest locking pawl to permit the backrest to be pushed forward by the occupant of the rear seat.  Compliance was required prior to issue of a Certificate of Airworthiness.  This AD was not based on a manufacturer’s service document.  Continued use of an AD to mandate this modification is no longer justified.
