AD/Cessna 337/16 Alternator Cable Protection Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 337/16.

AD/CESSNA 337/16 Alternator Cable Protection - Modification 5/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 8 May 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1974, required the installation of a circuit protective device in the rear alternator output supply cable.  The compliance of the AD was within 200 hours after 31 January 1975.  As all aircraft would have now been modified, the unsafe condition no longer exists.
