AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 337/15.

Cessna 337 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 337/15 Wing Strut Fairing - Modification 6/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1973, required the addition of a screw and rivnut to reduce the possibility of inadvertent loosening of the wing strut cuff.  The compliance of the AD was within 100 hours time in service after 31 December 1973. As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
