AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 320/6.

Cessna 320 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 320/6 Nose Gear Uplock Torque
Tube - Replacement
5/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 8 May 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1969, was based on Cessna Service Letter (SL) 67-2-Supplement 1 rather than a State of Design airworthiness directive.  Cessna SL 67-2-Supplement 1 required replacement of the nose gear uplock torque tube assembly.  Compliance was required within 500 hours time in service after 14 February 1969.  As all aircraft would have been inspected and modified by now, the unsafe condition no longer exists.
