AD/Cessna 320/5 Fuel Pressure Switch Relocation Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 320/5.
Cessna 320 Series Aeroplanes
| AD/CESSNA 320/5 | Fuel Pressure Switch - Relocation | 5/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 8 May 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1968, required the relocation of the fuel pressure switch in accordance with Cessna Service Letter (SL) ME 68-18 to reduce exposure to exhaust system heat. Compliance with the AD was within 100 hours time in service from 28 November 1968. As all aircraft would have now been modified, the unsafe condition no longer exists. |
