AD/Cessna 310/50 Wing Locker Fuel Tank Filler Cap Rework Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 310/50.

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 8 May 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD) was based on Cessna SIL No. ME79-26 rather than a State of Design AD.  The SIL required a simple modification by drilling a small vent hole to the filler cap on auxiliary wing locker tanks in accordance with Cessna Service Letter ME79-26.  Compliance with this AD was required within 100 hours time in service after 30 November 1979.  As all aircraft would now be modified, the unsafe condition no longer exists.
