AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 310/50.

Cessna 310 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 310/50 Wing Locker Fuel Tank
Filler Cap - Rework
5/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 8 May 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD) was based on Cessna SIL
No. ME79-26 rather than a State of Design AD.  The SIL required a simple modification by drilling a small vent hole to the filler cap on auxiliary wing locker tanks in accordance with Cessna Service Letter ME79-26.  Compliance with this AD was required within 100 hours time in service after 30 November 1979.  As all aircraft would now be modified, the unsafe condition no longer exists.
