AD/Cessna 310/45 Main Landing Gear Down Lock Pin and Set Screw Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 310/45.

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 8 May 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD) was based on Cessna SL ME76-4 rather than a State of Design AD.  The SL required a one off inspection of the main landing gear lock pin and set screw for tightness and security, in accordance with Cessna SL ME76-4.  Compliance with this AD was required within 100 hours time in service after 31 August 1976.  As all aircraft would now be modified, the unsafe condition no longer exists.
