AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 310/45.

Cessna 310 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 310/45 Main Landing Gear Down Lock Pin
and Set Screw - Inspection
5/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 8 May 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD) was based on Cessna SL
ME76-4 rather than a State of Design AD.  The SL required a one off inspection of the main landing gear lock pin and set screw for tightness and security, in accordance with Cessna SL ME76-4.  Compliance with this AD was required within 100 hours time in service after 31 August 1976.  As all aircraft would now be modified, the unsafe condition no longer exists.
