AD/Cessna 310/4 Voltage Regulator Shield Installation Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 310/4.
Cessna 310 Series Aeroplanes
| AD/CESSNA 310/4 | Voltage Regulator Shield - Installation | 4/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 10 April 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1957, required the installation of a protective shield over the voltage regulators in accordance with Cessna Service Letter (SL) 310-8 rather than a State of Design airworthiness directive. Compliance with the AD was forthwith. As all aircraft would now be modified, the unsafe condition no longer exists. |
