AD/Cessna 310/31 Fuel Crossfeed Lines Inspection and Modification Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 310/31.
Cessna 310 Series Aeroplanes
| AD/CESSNA 310/31 | Fuel Crossfeed Lines - Inspection and Modification | 5/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 8 May 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1973, required inspection and modification of the fuel cross feed lines in accordance with Cessna Service Letter ME73-13 to ensure proper drainage is maintained, rather than a State of Design AD. The compliance time of this AD was within 100 hours time in service. As all aircraft would have been inspected and modified by now, the unsafe condition no longer exists. |
