AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 310/26.

Cessna 310 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 310/26 Fuel Crossover Line - Inspection
and Modification
5/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 8 May 2008.

Background:

This Australian unique airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1971, required inspection and clamping of the fuel lines in accordance with Cessna Service Letter 70-39 to eliminate possible chafing behind the nacelle firewall, rather than a State of Design AD.  Compliance with the AD was within 100 hours time in service after
30 July 1971.  As all aircraft would have now been inspected and modified, the unsafe condition no longer exists.
