AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 310/24.

Cessna 310 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 310/24 Fuel Line - Inspection and Modification 5/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 8 May 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1970, required a special inspection of the fuel line for chafing in the wing leading edge in accordance with Cessna Service Letter 70-14, rather than a State of Design AD.  If chafing had occurred, modification was required.  Compliance was required within 100 hours time in service after 30 June 1970.  As all aircraft would have now been inspected and, if necessary modified, the unsafe condition no longer exists.
