Background: | This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1970, required inspection and re-routeing of the fuel line to ensure adequate clearance from the vapour return line. The compliance of the AD was within 100 hours time in service after 29 May 1970. As all aircraft would have been inspected by now, the unsafe condition no longer exists. |
