AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 310/16.

Cessna 310 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 310/16 Nose Gear Uplock Torque
Tube - Replacement
6/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1969, required the replacement of the nose gear uplock torque tube assembly in accordance with Cessna Service Letter SL 67-45.  The compliance of the AD was within 500 hours time in service after 14 February 1969.  As all aircraft would have been inspected by now, the unsafe condition no longer exists.
