AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 210/47.

Cessna 210 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 210/47 Fuel Vapour Return Line - Repositioning 4/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 10 April 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD) was raised against manufacturer’s Service Instruction Letter (SIL) SE80-50 rather than a State of Design AD.  The SIL required a more positive separation between the alternator leads and the fuel vapour return line.  Compliance with this AD was required within 100 hours time in service after 31 July 1980.  As all affected aircraft would now be modified, the unsafe condition no longer exists.
