AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 210/39.

Cessna 210 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 210/39 Pre-Certification
Requirements - Modifications
4/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 10 April 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1979, required pre-certification modifications in accordance with ANO 101.22.  These modifications included the installation of protective inner transparencies to passenger windows and the provision of witness windows to at least 3 cabin door lock pins to enable the correct engagement of latches to be ascertained by visual inspection.  As ANO 101.22 has been cancelled, the requirements of this directive are no longer appropriate or necessary.
