Ad/Cessna 208/4 - Wing Fuel Tanks External Sump - Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 208/4.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1988 against Cessna Service Bulletin (SB) No. CAB 88-23, required a modification by installing external sumps to the wing fuel tanks to assist in collecting contaminants that should be drained from the tank.

Compliance was prior to 31 May 1989.  As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
